Missouri, Ole Miss to face each other in '06 & '07
Missouri and Ole Miss have agreed to play a home-and-home series against each other, beginning next season. Under the agreement, the Tigers and Rebels will face off in Columbia on September 9, 2006, and again in Oxford on September 8, 2007.
The two schools haven't met on the gridiron since 1979, when Mizzou defeated the Rebels 33-7 in Jackson (Miss.). The teams played one another four times during the 1970's, and the Tigers lead the overall series, 3-1.
Last month, Mizzou announced the resumption of its on-again, off-again rivalry with Illinois, beginnning in 2007.
