Vandy is 3-0 for first time in a while.
As a Tennessee fan, I have to admit it's a pretty sad day when you have to say that the Vols are looking up to the Vanderbilt in the standings. But inexplicably, Vanderbilt has learned how to win this year, going 3-0 to start the young season.
Saturday, the Commodores took care of Ole Miss, 31-23 to notch a 2-0 record in the conference.
The game was hauntingily similiar to previous years. Vandy ran out to an huge, first half lead only to see Ole Miss storm back in the second half. But unlike previous years in which Vandy would fold and play dead in the fourth quarter, Vandy actually scored and held on to win the game in the waning moments.
However, despite the success, Vanderbilt is still having problems selling out games in Nashvillle. I guess no one can really believe they're actually winning...
