Sugar, Orange to Swap Affiliations?
Paulwesterdog at Georgia Sports Blog has heard a rumor that the Sugar Bowl and Orange Bowl might swap bowl affiliations for this year so that the SEC Champion doesn't have to play two consecutive games in the same stadium.
On it's face this seems like a good idea, but it would all be for naught if the stars align and an undefeated Georgia or Alabama team wind up in the National Championship Game in Pasadena.
Please note that this is only a rumor and I've not yet seen it suggested by anyone who ought to know. More updates as the veracity of the rumor becomes more clear.
