Rix Fined for Parking in Handicapped Space

Chris Rix was seen leaving his SUV in a handicapped space with an unauthorized sticker last week on campus at FSU. Other students confronted him as he walked away and left a note on the windshield before calling police - who put a Denver boot on his vehicle.

Head Coach Bobby Bowden said that Rix had been disciplined but refused to elaborate. Several UCLA players were charged with similar crimes in the past, including Cade McNown. Some players received two-game suspensions in the UCLA scandal.

Don't ya know...poor Chris can't catch a break. They don't want him to sleep through tests (like in the Sugar Bowl), so he has to go to class. So he was running a little late and parked in the handicap spot.

Gee, it's not like he just up and did it again. Oh, wait. I guess he did.

Damnit, Chris. Get your head in the game, boy!

Rix is now saying that Bowden is making him run after every practive as punishment. It's probably more than a regular student would get, as Rix still has to pay the tickets, but he needs to set a better example. Stop breaking the damn law before you have to sit a week, Rix!
