Playboy's Girls of the ACC edition

Because I care about you, I've taken it upon myself to brush up on the articles in the October 2004 edition of Playboy magazine - the "Girls of the ACC" edition. Evelyn Gery of UNC is on the cover, and appears along with University of Maryland sophomore Yen Hoang, Florida State University student Cameron Haven, FSU mode Lace Rose Allenius, Jessica Burke, Bianca James, Melissa Favorito, Reiko Tavares, and Paige Gellar.

    It's good to know that Kevin is dedicated to covering all...umm...aspects of college sports to look into this issue for us.

    On an odd note...a couple of years ago, Playboy did a Girls of the SEC and a Knoxville columnist predicted which team would win the SEC by the amount of exposure each school got. (And by exposure, I mean how much the girls were willing to bare).

    Well, Florida State has the most photos. Miami has just one. Virginia Tech, UVa, and Clemson all had rather strong showings, as well.

    They keep rotating around the conferences every year, I've seen C-USA, Big 12, Pac 10.

    When I was a junior in college they did the Girls of the Pac-10 and one girl I graduated HS with was one of ASU's reps.

    Not that I would, um, own or look at such a magazine.

    Josh--I know that you wouldn't own such a publication....you were just holding it for a friend, right? The same one who told you about the images in question...;-)

    And Kevin, I'm not too sure how the writer determined who would win, though it wasn't quantity of photos so much as quantity of skin shown by women at that school. For example if FSU had three pix in there, but they all three only featured topless women while Clemson had only one photo but it featured a fully nekkid girl, they'd get the nod for coming out on top.

    And I say you should post some scans so the rest of us can see them...er....I mean, no...those photos would be bad! Bad, I tell you!
