Now this is one very wise move ... Here's a coach , that even after watching game films of every game that Alabama played last year , he still doesn't see his main problem ! They never adjusted there offense in the second half or in other words ....they lost most of there games in the second half ......and they want to keep him longer... ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!!!

Keep the coach, with all the trouble over the yrs with the probation, the program is in the right direction and i know the Shula will recruit well and bring ALABAMA back to it's standard of excellence. Auburn has had its fun of lately but PAYBACK this year is going to very sweet. ROLL TIDE........

Yeah, I'm not really sure what Shula has shown to justify a contract extension. If his current contract runs through 2009, why not wait until after this season to see if his teams will ever live up to their expectations? I get kinda tired of Alabama's excuses, like Croyle got hurt or whatever. A team that used to be on the level of Alabama should not have to depend on one player for its success, even if it's the quarterback. And for the record, I am an Auburn alum and fan.
