It's official: Tide, 'Noles to face off in 2007
Alabama Athletics Director Mal Moore announced today that the much-anticipated September 29, 2007, game with Florida State at Alltel Stadium in Jacksonville has been finalized.
As recently reported here at Fanblogs, ABC/ESPN and CBS have argued over the television rights to the game, but it appears all sides have punted that decision to a later date.
Per the official release:
The game will be televised by either CBS or ESPN, a decision that will be reached two weeks prior to the game.
The two teams have faced each other three times, but haven't met since 1974. The Tide holds a 2-0-1 record in those games.

I go to Florida State, but grew up an Alabama fan. But after being up here at FSU and seeing all the bandwagon canes who go to FSU, made me sick. I have this to say that while u go to that school at least represent your school. After you garduate you can go any way you like, but while you are at that school you need to root for them. So in 2007 Go Noles!

Is this the same LSU team that laid down in the second half against Tennessee? And the same team that needed a slew of missed field goals to beat an Auburn team that has lost to Georgia Tech?

Chris Leak for heisman huh? what has he done at FL? sure he was 46-0 in high school, but what has he done at FL? Vince Young will win the heisman.
Im Ready for the Bama FSU meeting, i dont think bama is going to be a great team then, but that is just my thoughts.

Last time Bama & FSU met, Daryl Mudra was the Noles "coach". He was the most inept college coach I've ever seen. He sat in the press box during the games; probably to avoid the tomatoes the specatators would throw at him. It will be a very different matchup in 07.
As for Leak & the heisman, in your dreams man. He barely threw for 100 yds last week. He can't take pressure & we're coming to the mudhole for him. ("go crocs" :o). Be sure to tell him that,

Chris Leak for heisman!? What are you smoking??? That's w/o a doubt the craziest thing I have heard in a LONG LONG time. In 2007 the 'Noles will be unstoppable. Not sure how the Roll Tide will be then, but it doesn't matter because they're gonna lose anyways. They don't stand a chance to beat the upcoming Seminole team in 2007. Hey Mark, I know TWO words...GO 'NOLES!!!
