This is unbelievable! Do people understand the SEC? Tennessee could beat Miami, we have high schools in Alabama that could beat VT. Miami #3????? You have got to be kidding me. That is the stupidest thing I have seen since Auburn got shafted last year. USC could NOT handle Auburn last year but the powers that made that faux "championship" game had to hand it to USC. Now the AP screws Alabama, remember you Miami loving @$$Os 1992 when Miami was SO much better than Alabama. We do... bring Miami on, school would be in session again.

Jason Ray: If you think the AP voters improperly value AL take a look at how the computers vary all over the place, anywhere from 2 to 22.

Jason Ray,
You must not have watched any games that either Miami or Tennessee played all year long. Tennessee looks like a bunch of inbred hicks that don't know how to play football. Miami would wipe the field with any of the terrible teams that are in the SEC. Also, Auburn cost themselves the chance to play for a title last year by having too many powder puffs on their schedule. If they had the balls to play a major football powerhouse, then they would have gotten to play for the championship.Kenny said:

Jeff Parson is a (insert insult here) because he took his first-place vote away from USC for the sole reason that Texas hasn't played as many close games. USC has beaten more top ten teams than Texas has. Texas has beaten Ohio State, mind you when T. Smith wasn't playing, and the one of the main reasons they're playing well is because of him. Also, USC has beaten both Oregon (In Eugene--Autzen Stadium), and also Notre Dame, IN SOUTH BEND. Look at the facts. USC's schedule is much harder than that of Texas. Hopefully before you give 'legitmate' reasons to ESPN, think about it. It's your job. :)

The AP poll should be abolished, it is to biases! How can they continually rank Notre Dame in the top 10. Any other team after a 2nd loss would have been dropped from top 15, but what does the AP do, leaves Notre Dame at #9. This poll is such a farce and a joke to real sports writers!
