LORD!!! N AS, Stanford, and UNLV, in a row to start the season and at HOME no less. In how many languages can you say 3-0 without breaking a sweat? Yes, Sun Devils, it will take at least 3 tune-ups to prepare for when the Dawgs visit. My hat's off to this match-up, especially to GA for taking the plunge. AS St is no slouch; they've proven that when they're down, they're just getting warmed up. This is another of those early season games with National Championship implications; not to mention, both enter the meat of their respective conference schedules soon after.

On paper, it looks like the Sun Devils will be 3-0 going into the Georgia game, but will the first three games prepare them for the Dwags? I suppose there are two theories of thought on this situation. Play some weaker teams so your team can win and build confidence; or play a tough schedule to prepare for conference games where winning really matters. ASU is going with the confidence theory, and if it works, and they beat Georgia, they will be one of the top 5 teams in the nation.
