Nutt's contract extended through 2011
Arkansas and head football coach Houston Nutt have finalized a one-year contract extension that lengthens his deal in Fayetteville through 2011, according to the (Memphis) Commercial Appeal.
AD Frank Broyles has insisted in published reports that the extension has been in the works since last December, but news of this extension--coming on the heels of the start of fall practice--is bound to quiet the simmering talk of Nutt being on the hot seat at UA.
Nutt is 53-33 in 7 seasons in Fayetteville, and enjoyed a string of 6 consecutive bowl appearances before a disappointing 5-6 campaign last fall.

Mitch Mustain is a HOG!
This should DEFINITELY end a lot of the anti-Nutt sentiment now.
