Nutt wants Dick in pocket against 'Cocks
Arkansas football coach Houston Nutt is taking the redshirt off freshman QB Casey Dick, opting to start him against South Carolina this week. The move to bench starter Robert Johnson comes as the Razorbacks are 0-4 in the SEC.
If you're an Arkansas fan, you have to think that this is a nod to next year. Nutt knows his 2-5 team is going nowhere fast, so they might as well get some playing time for the Frosh.
((Giggle))
(And yes, I mostly posted this story so you could have an outlet for your Nutt, Dick, Johnson, and Cocks double entendre.)

Very funny.
However, as an Arkansas fan, this just adds more salt to the wound. We have two other QBs that we could just as easily be taking a look at without having to remove Dick's redshirt. This is an absolute moronic move by HDN. We aren't going to a bowl and now we're wasting a guy on a couple of games?
ARGH!!!!!
WHY NOT MORTENSEN OR COLE!?!?!

BalRog - you are a real man of genius. :)
Better 1 or Better 2:
1) Nutt pulls Johnson out; forces Dick in pocket for 'Cocks
2) Dick in, Johnson out; Nutt all over the place before 'Cocks

RE #12: Not bad! I prefer the first choice. To get a little more k1nky you could try "under center" instead of "in pocket".
RE #6: There must be SOME way to make this happen! Maybe we need a write-in campaign to a bowl with PAC-10 and SEC tie-ins? Of course the 'Cocks and the Beavers have to "take care of business" first.PalmettoCrescent said:

Nutt has one of the top rushing games in the nation, but unfortunatly one of the most anemic passing offenses. So it's not too difficult to figure out the QB move. As for wasting the shirt, well desparate times call for desparate measures. I don't think he's too worried about the collegiate careers of his players right now. GO COCKS!

What an idiot. Taking a redshirt freshman and making him a starter against a Spurrier led offense. The front four WILL shut the run down. Spurrier WILL get up two scores which will change Arkansas' dynamic game controlling rush approach. And the redshirt will throw to KO Simspon all day long. At least his first appearance will be memorable.

i saw dick on tv and he looked a little soft to
me. the whole thing is rather moot they say
mustain can throw 5o yards on a rope so it
should not make much difference and i believe
the next three can be won to set up a game with
lsu that would have some meaning

The Cocks are finally hardening up in the middle of their SEC schedule and I think that win over Tennessee gives them big momentum when they meet Arkansas. That said, what happened to the kid Mortensen? Did they just pass him completely over?
