Sick out or just strep throat at Baylor?

Seventeen Baylor football players have missed practice this week because of an out break of strep throat. Coach Guy Morriss is expecting more players to miss practice as the infection "runs its course" through the week.

"It takes about 48 hours to run its course, so we'll probably have a few more missing (today)," Baylor coach Guy Morriss said. "But better this week than next. It's just something you have to deal with."

I've heard of teams having players miss practice because of the flu, but I don't remember seeing so many players out with strep throat. Is this a sick out?
