BCS to form new poll

The BCS is looking to start a new college football poll with voters comprised of former players, coaches, administrators and members of the media. The BCS conferences and Notre Dame have submitted a prospective voter list and the BCS has hired Harris Interactive to sort through the list & assemble voters.

It is expected that the new poll would take the place of the AP Poll, which dropped out of the BCS following last season.

Once the exact process is ironed out, the conferences & Notre Dame will vote in mid-July to determine if they will go forward with the plan to implement the new poll.
