BCS Standings - Nov. 2th 2008

The new BCS Standings have been released. At this point the BCS score matters more than the actual rank, though the order of the top 5 is gaining significance. The formula 25-80*(BCS points - 0.0800)/3 can be used to estimate what ranking a score actually represents.

No teams have secured an automatic qualification at this time.

Penn State, Alabama, Texas Tech, Utah and TCU are the only team with the 9 wins needed to be BCS eligible, if they can remain in the top 14.

The data below is for the current year only, rankings reflect the current leader for each conference. The BCS uses a 4 year window.
