Fire Mack Brown?

For those of you who think that he's the worst thing to happen to Texas football
since Bob Stoops and want to get rid of Mack Brown you can visit FireMackBrown.com. The site isn't great but it is certainly entertaining.
The fact is, Brown is a great recruiter and in a lesser conference he would be the best coach around.
He'll win the big one someday, remember that Bobby Bowden was never seen as a big game coach until he won a National Title. Just give Mack some time.

    I'm not convinced that Mack Brown has the right staff in place. He leans heavily on them and I think he's getting less than 100% from his coaches.

    That being said, there is no way that Brown is going anywhere. He's signed at an ungodly amount through 2011 (I seem to recall). Texas can barely afford to keep him, let alone buy him out.

    Yeah but clauses aren't going to say 10-3 isn't good enough. If you hit 7-6 as a Texas coach.. I could see that.. but not 10-3, that is assinine in college football to fire on that. It's to hard to win all of your games.

    Either Mack needs to go or he at least needs to overhaul his staff. Greg Davis (offense) coaches not to lose and constantly shits his pants. He is a bitch, plain and simple. Carl Reese (defense) apparently has his head up his ass, because he NEVER makes adjustments to what the other team is doing and the OU play (Quentin Griffin up the middle on the shotgun draw) still works all the time.

    im a longhorns fan and say what a let down after holiday bowl wow why mack brown never opted to go w/ play action ill never know that wouldve helped against the wash st. blitz anyway wait all horns fans mack will be gone after 04 season cause the horns will lose 6 games we start off at ark in fayetville a sure loss so hang in there macks gone next yr... hook em horns
