Callahan to coach the Huskers
According to ESPN former Raiders offensive coordinator and head coach Bill Callahan has accepted the job at Nebraska after vigorously lobbying for it.
Callahan is a great choice to lead Husker Nation, not only because he'll bring the offense into the 21st century, but also because he can look recruits right in the eye and tell them exactly how he can help them get to the NFL. He's a big name guy, just what the doctor ordered after a rough fall for Nebraska's program.

Callahan's going to flop. Nebraska is going to be mediocre to good, but not great, for the forseeable future. Solich is going to hugely successful in his new job, and will be deciding between job offers at powerhouse colleges or NFL teams about the same time Nebraska fires Callahan starts over yet again. Hopefully this whole little episode will be an example for other teams not to be so quick to fire a winning coach.

I am actually happy for Nebrask that they finaly found someone to accepth the job. I wanted their nose rubbed in it but I was actually pulling for them at the end.
Do I understand this right nothing is final with the commitments untill nation signing day? Perhaps now that things are settled those recruits will return to Nebraska. Congrtulations to nebraska on finding a new coach and good luck.

Remember folks, unless they win 11 games next season, according to Pederson, it should be a failure.
"We will not surrender the Big 12 to Oklahoma and Texas".
Guess what, you get to play both up close and in their ball yard Mr. AD, so you can see the fruits of your labor.
I wish Callahan luck. He's going to need it.
