Backup punter shanks... the starting punter
Northern Colorado backup punter Mitch Cozad shanked the Bears starting punter Rafael Mendoza in the back of his right thigh Monday evening in a parking lot. Following the stabbing, Cozad was kicked off the team, expelled from UNC, and arrested for second degree assault.
Despite the OJ-esque black hoodie getup, police were able to track Cozad down... by the custom plates on his car.
