Boise State, Va Tech ready to ink 2010 game

Word from WTVR Richmond has Virginia Tech and Boise State signing a one-game contract to play the 2010 season opener at FedEx Field in Washington, DC.

Sources tell CBS 6 sports that Boise State could fill one of those slots, opening the 2010 season against the Hokies at FedEx Field in suburban D.C. It will most likely be a made-for-TV event with the time, date and network still to be determined.

This is the only outlet that I've seen report talks of this game, so everybody hold off until an official announcement is out.

That said, if this game goes down, you have to take your hat off to Boise State for continuing to up the ante on their out-of-conference scheduling.
