Lovett leaves La. Tech for Bowling Green
John Lovett was fired at Clemson after the 2004 season and then landed the same job at Louisiana Tech. He has now left Tech for Bowling Green.
La. Tech head coach Jack Bicknell has promoted Randy Bates to defensive coordinator. Tech also lost special teams and tight ends coach Chris Vazily to the Atlanta Falcons.
Lovett was hired at Bowling Green after Tim Rose left for Toledo.
