Kevin,
Maybe if you chose better charities, then you would see more schools showing their support.
Remember (from previous posts) there is only one alum from Miami on your site, and I don't believe in the normally contribute to any of the three charities you have listed (I haven't research two of them, but one of the three is bad with their money).
The real shock should be with as many fans as the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Oklahoma, LSU, etc. have on this site, why are their totals so low compared to Michigan, Ohio State, and Florida.

@Tampa - I'm going to direct you to this comment about the core versus the whole.
Bad charities? Hmmm. I don't seem to recall many people from WPB to Homestead saying no thanks when the Red Cross rolled into town in the early 90s.

@Tampa, that (#12) was an insensitive comment and I apologize. I remember volunteering during that hurricane and seeing some things that I never want to see again. I apologize.
Let's do this... you go ahead and make a donation to any charity you choose and email me the confirmation. I'll credit it to Miami. Fair?

Guys, fanblogs isn't the only site that people are seeing this on. It's on all the homer sites, too. You can't correlate the numbers of donations soley based on how many fans of a school you see on here...
Unfortunately, I think the fact that we have to pay Notre Dame NOT to particpate in the contest is really keeping down the numbers. First we had to pay them NOT to participate in the BCS, now this. Damn TV contracts...
Bama shot up in the rankings because Saban required all the new recruits to contribute 5% of their signing bonuses...
Please note that all comments are subject to the Fanblogs Comment Policy.
