Kevin, can you tell us how many different individuals donated for Michigan? Did some big shot give like $5k or something? Just curious. Great job, by the way.

@ JJmichigan - Gladly. Michigan had 78 contributors and the single largest donation was $1,000.

The largest single donation was a very generous former Fanblogs blogger who gave $2,000 to the Red Cross in support of Ohio State.

It may sound funny, coming from a WVU fan, but I have to give MI fans their due. They came through when they were needed, and given the state of things, especially in some parts of this crazy world, their gifts will be appreciated. So what if WVU has become MI’s 1-Stop-Shop for their coaches. Any relationship is better than none. Once again, great job! Same goes for all the Big 10. Your teams may have been the butt of many a joke this past season, but your character is tops!!!

SEC, there’s no shame in coming in 2nd this time. If anything, it gives you a goal to reach for next time. (Something tells me there will be a next time.)

To all: I know this was appreciated; it was also lots of fun. Now, lets bring on the new CF seasons, shall we.

    Kevin,
Is it true that many of the USC fans got confused and accidentally credited their donations to BDA Sports Management?

No it isn't, VTBobb, but instead of donating money, a lot of USC fans just let the victims stay in their $700,000 house rent free...

And, as everyone including the NCAA agrees, apparently, that has no monetary value...No wonder they aren't higher on the list.

I think a lot of USC cash is going into legal defense funds at the moment.

Look, it isn't Pete Carroll's and the USC administration's job to know if disaster victims are staying for free in boosters' houses. Noooo way! They got too much going on this year with Mitch Mustain finally available for play..
