Bowdens are now plantation owners

Clemson football coach Tommy Bowden and his father, Florida State football coach Bobby Bowden, are now plantation owners. The coaching Bowdens, along with swindling brother Steve Bowden, have purchased a Georgia plantation for $2.7 million.

The previous owners ran the plantation as a bed & breakfast, but it is believed that the Bowdens will develop the grounds with homes and condominiums, while leaving the main house intact.

Our well-placed Fanblogs sources also tell us that they're likely to have at least one dadgum bbq at the place, too.

Now, let the "put Bobby out to pasture" comments commence.

The place is about an hour outside of Tallahassee, and is very very nice.
