Fiesta Bowl to scout TCU
Despite the worldwide consensus that TCU will not make it into the BCS bowls without a lot of help above them, the Fiesta Bowl will send a rep to scout TCU in this week's matchup against Louisville.
Fiesta Bowl president John Junker said of his bowl's presence in Fort Worth this week. "I think it's appropriate that we should have a look at them, who knows? All those one-loss teams might have two before the season is over."
Right now, there are six one loss teams (plus two loss Michigan) ahead of TCU in the BCS rankings. Even if every one of those teams takes another loss this year, it's still very unlikely that TCU could get high enough in the polls to secure an automatic bid to a BCS game.
To me, this is just the Fiesta being smart. They could take the Frogs if they remain in the top twelve of the BCS, but I seriously don't think it will happen. No one does, right?
That being said, if TCU ends up at number seven or so in the BCS, there would be an awful lot of pressure for the BCS bowls to do something.

TCU get's blasted by many of the top BCS teams (OU, USC, FSU, Miami, LSU, Michigan), no doubt. I would suggest that TCU might make a game of it with some of the others. TCU would be a tough opponent for OSU, Georgia, Tennessee, Purdue, Iowa. Michigan & Texas probably beat the Frogs in a surprisingly close game.

TCU has zero shot of being in the Fiesta Bowl. They'll take a 6-6 Notre Dame over TCU
