Colonial to pick up for A-10 in 2007

The Colonial Athletic Association announced that they will officially pick up the football baton when the Atlantic 10 drops football in 2007.

The twelve A-10 schools (University of Delaware, Hofstra University, James Madison University, the University of Maine, the University of Massachusetts, the University of New Hampshire, Northeastern University, the University of Rhode Island, the University of Richmond, Towson University, Villanova University and the College of William & Mary) will continue to play football under the A-10 banner through 2006. For the 2007 season, all 12 member schools will join the CAA.
