Duke mascot attacked by Keydet band member

During Duke's 40-14 win over the Virginia Military Insitute last month, a member of the VMI Regimental Band jumped over a wall and knocked down Charlie Suwankosai, who was wearing the Blue Devil costume. The costume's head rolled off onto the ground and Suwankosai lost his contact lenses.

The band member was not identified since no charges were filed by the mascot. A police spokeswoman said that Suwankosai did ask that the band member help replace his contacts, which were worth $200.

    Sounds like this Charlie guy is a real man to take a hit and not press charges the band member should be lucky the blue devil didnt get physical on him cause it would be going DOWN!
