how does one rate minnesota and wisconsin ahead of purdue -- in fact not rating purdue at all??

...or Michigan ahead of Minnesota, for that matter.

point noted, but i'd take michigan (or ohio state or purdue) against minnesota any day -- minnesota can run the ball like crazy, but their defense has been letting lesser teams score as well. in a game against a first rate opponent i think minnesota may struggle. their huge advantage this year is their schedule with no OSU and no Purdue.

I might be biased against teams with a good chance to prove themselves. Purdue playes both Michigan and Wisconsin this month and should settle that arguement one way or the other.

For that #14 spot I was torn between Purdue and Wisconsin. I gave wisconsin the point.

Really, this week will shake up the polls. Oklahoma vs Texas and Minnesota at Michigan will clairify a lot about how these teams compare.

The SEC should get quite a bit of a shake up al around.
