Conventional Wisdom: Week Seven

Week 7
Date:
10/06/2004
Welcome to October! The cupcake games are out of the way and things are heating up. This past week has provided all of the excitement that we've come to expect from College Football.

CONVENTIONALwisdom
TRI-LAMBDA EDITION
WR Tim Frisby up His playing time isn't going up, but he's getting more publicity than an impromptu Brittney wedding.
ASU ??? The Sun Devils are on a roll and have an extra week to prepare for USC next week. Can they do it?
Revenge of the Nerds up Stanford, Vanderbilt, and Northwestern all notch wins this week... weather forcast for hell: Lows in the teens with a 75% chance of snow.
Tennessee down This past week, Auburn came to town and absolutely owned Neyland Stadium, this week they travel to Georgia to play one of the very best teams in the nation. Could be a long saturday for fans in day-glo orange.
Purdue up The Boilermakers find themselves in the top ten of several polls this week -- including the Fanblogs XIV.
Ohio State down Look on the bright side, Buckeye fans... at least the 'cats didn't beat you in regulation.
Florida ??? If the Gators are true to their ranking, they should be favored by more than the 3.5 points vegas is giving them -- do the oddsmakers know something we don't?
Personnel down A rash of suspensions, benchings, releases, returns, and departures are in the news this week. CW just wants the boys to quit their whining and felonious activity and play football.
