ESPN College GameDay Update
This week the GameDay crew will be taking a break from the road and coming to you straight from the ESPN Studios in Bristol, Connecticut, at 10:30 a.m. ET on ESPN. The guys are going to take a look at all of the matchups for the week. Among them, Big 12 matchups between No. 2 Oklahoma vs No. 22 Texas A&M, and No. 19 Oklahoma State at No. 7 Texas. And with the BCS National Championship game approaching quickly, the GameDay gang will be taking a closer look at how all the teams have done this season.
New this week, the Behind-the-Scenes video is now on the website and you can check out what the GameDay guys are up to when they’re not filming the shows. This week you can check out the crew mingling with fans after the broadcast and find out where and how Corso comes up with all his crazy sayings.
Corso’s still answering all your questions. When someone asked about the major upset last week between Texas A&M and Baylor (where the Aggies lost by a score of 35 to 34) and how it’s going to affect A&M’s morale vs OU this week, Corso replied that “it’s only one game. You know I think that that’s easy for people to say, but (A&M has) gotta understand that a loss is a loss if it’s to anybody, and they’ve got a chance to redo something that Baylor did to them. If I’m not mistaken, Texas A&M beat Baylor like 73 to 19 last year. Look it up, and Oklahoma beat A&M 77 to nothing. So it’s possible as you were shown last week to reverse a major score. Right? Let’s tee it up and play.”
Have you sent all your friends a voicemail from Corso?
Or compare your predictions to his predictions (and win prizes) in the Scotts Perfect Picks contest. There are only 11 people whose picking percentages are higher than Corso’s… try and beat him!

Two games that stick out in my memory are the Orange Bowl back in 1969 or 70, around there which is definitely one of the all time best football games ever and the 1999 win in the Alamo Bowl over Texas A&M, maybe the most perfect defensive game ever played by any team (I believe Penn State was the best team in the country that year.) With a stadium that seats close to 110000 people, Penn State will always have a big following. A few losing seasons in 40 years. Not many teams can say that.
