Why limit yourself to one or the other Kevin?

I don't know Kevin, but I'll tell you what, if Oklahoma plays USC, Mark Clayton will go for 150+ yards and 3 TDs no sweat. I don't think the Trojan secondary could cover you and me at this point, much less an All-American receiver with Adrian Peterson in the backfield. But the truth is, I hope the Trojans blast them and shut up all those grain-eating Big 12 folks.

I promise you the Trojans could cover me. I've got like a 5 second 40. :)

1) I am biased in favor of Louisville, and all other non-BCS teams.
2) I am biased against Texas. I feel they, like FSU and select others, are unfairly inflated in the polls due to their tradition.
3) I really think Louisville would play Texas well.
PS...
I am still hoping Auburn hops Oklahoma so Utah gets the honor of knocking off Oklahoma. This saturday is going to be great. So many BCS things to be shuffled out this week.

Wow, Ben, I wasn't aware that the computer polls measured things like tradition. That would explain the huge gap between Texas and Louisville in the computer polls.
Texas - 5-4-4-4-4-4
Louisville - 16-16-14-15-8-8Of course, I realize now that we need people like you to do things like vote Louisville ahead of Texas to offset this unfair advantage teams like Texas have.

Ben, one more thing - here are some guys you need to buy a beer for that are making this whole BCS thing more fair by handing out justice to the non-BCS teams and punishing teams like Texas (just like you are).
Neal McCready, Mobile Register: ranks Texas 9th, behind Louisville, Boise State and Iowa
Edgar Thompson, Palm Beach Post: has Louisville ranked in front of Texas (6th and 7th respectively)
Ken Tysiac, Charlotte Observer: has Louisville ranked in front of Texas (6th and 7th respectively)
Matt Hayes, The Sporting News: has Louisville ranked in front of Texas (6th and 7th respectively)

Just say an interesting Blog from a guy in Alabama...
Alabama Voter-
Just got off the phone w neale mcready. He said he DOES think he ranked Texas a little low, and will probably finish with them at 7th or 6th if everyone wins out this weekend. In fairness to him, he saw the UT vs Kansas game, the A&M game, and the OU game wire to wire and that may have somewhat tainted his view of Texas. He is going to look at a couple other Texas game films but he thinks he will probably finish with them at 7th or 6th. PS he said he would return his non-obscene e-mails but the volume has been too much to also keep his jobJR

The computers and the way they factor in strength of schedule brings all teams closer to their conference average than they should be, in my opinion.
I dropped the ball on Virginia, they should be gone. Virginia Tech will move up this week with their win over a good team. Definately over Boise, maybe higher.
If Louisville played Texas I would expect the line to be about 10, and I would have to take Louisville on that one. Their is enough uncertainty in the strength of the teams to justify disagreement as to who is the better team. The polls show the predominant view is Texas by a large margin.
One final note. This is why the coaches should open up their voting, so the results are open to inspection and coaches can be held accountable for the accurace of thier votes.
