Best two match-ups this weekend. Oklahoma will beat Missouri soundly and Louisiana State will eek out a win over Kentucky! I am not sayin' these are DA' Games but the only two that has ranked opponents playin' each other. Upsets are possible!

George W. Bush will win a nobel peace prize for international relations before the Wildcats beat the Tigers...

Sorry...But, Woodson's missing Little, and there's more than enough talent to match up against Kentucky's playmakers.

On offense...well...We get Early Doucet back, Matt Flynn's ankle is continuing to get better, and let's be honest...Kentucky has no defense.

    Tiger's roll...34-17.

I strongly believe Mississippi State is under rated. After they beat Tennessee they should jump into the top 25.

Utah has yet to be in a close game, so SDSU should be a blow out. I am not sure who will win, but it will be a blowout.

I e-mailed Kevin earlier today...After watching that game, the previous offensive staff seems to be pure idiots...

To let Drew Weatherford play as opposed to letting Xavier Lee learn on the job is idiocy personified...

Imagine if this were that kid's third year of starting...You guys would be trying to recruit a 4 or 5* kid off of Rivals to replace him, as he'd be a likely Top 10 draft pick...

The kid's got a rocket arm, mobility, and a far more mechanically sound delivery than a Vince Young...

Instead, you see him looking tentative and turning the ball over in the 2nd half...But, a warning to the ACC...

Jimbo Fisher QB's in their 2 year go into Beast Mode...Watch out for a RS Senior Xavier Lee next year...He may crash the Heisman talk...

    You heard it here first...

Sorry Lennie, OU will get beat down this weekend in my opinion. If anything it will be a good measuring stick to see how good OU really is. In my opinion Missou is waay under rated and could easily be a top five team.

Any other upsets you see brewing? I'm thinking Ole Miss over Alabama
    Washington over Arizona St.
    Ark over Auburn?

    TE,
No doubt FLA ST. is on the rise. They will dominate the ACC next year. Thank God we have Early back! If I have to see Mitchell drop one more pass I will DDT my TV!

Hey Eye Of the Tiger that is your opinion. You don't have to apologize to me. Oklahoma is at home and I do not doubt Missouri is going to have GREAT passing yards against BUT DEFENSE is what win games. Missouri offense has not yet faced a defense like Oklahoma. I picked Arizona over Southern California, Iowa State over texas, and Pennslyvania State over Wisconsin. There are going to be some upsets this weekend. Who? How Many? We will all see. I am sticking to my prediction: Oklahoma will beat Missouri By 21 points. I BELIEVE! I BELIEEEEEVE!

Suspended Penn State running back Austin Scott has been charged with raping a woman at his on-campus apartment after meeting her at a bar.

Scott, 22, was arraigned Friday on charges of rape, sexual assault and two counts of aggravated indecent assault, all felonies, in connection with the Oct. 5 encounter.

What the hell is going on at Penn State? You have a coach getting in to fights over traffic and a player raping people. Looks like someone has to take control over the program.

OK, I'm back and desperate to talk College Football. (An hour with my mother-in-law will do that to ya.)

How about Wake? I think they're this year's cardiac kids. What was it, 3 of their 4 wins they came from behind; thier 2 losses real close? Amazing!

C FL at S FL (5): Atlantic, Central, International all want to make a statement, but S FL always gets the last word.
Purdue (24) at MI: Is OSU that good or Purdue that bad; I think MI proves it's the latter.
Virginia Tech (10) at Duke: If Stanford can do it, so can Duke (They have come close.), but not this weekend.
Kent State at Ohio State (3): Where is the State of "Kent"? OSU.
IL (19) at IA: Bad year for the Hawkeye's; great year for the Illini!
Baylor at KS (20): When was the last time KS started a season 6-0? For those not born yet, tune in to witness history repeat itself.
TX (22) at IA St: TX can't afford another B-12 loss! Horns!!!
LSU (1) at KY (18): The Kats have come so close at home against tough competition. Sadly, this is another heart breaker.
SC (12) at N C: The battle of Carolina goes to SC.
AS at USC (7): So, this is USC's next vict…ahem, opponent.
WA St at OR (8): Ducks way too fast for Cougars.
BC (4) at ND: Eagles miss their landing - Upset Special!!!
WI (15) at PA St: Joe Pa's driving woes are over, but stomping the Badgers is no upset.
GA (23) at Vandy: I thought Vandy would be better. DAWGS!!!
MO (11) at OK (5): In a preview of the B-12 championship, OK takes Round 1.
OR St at CA (2): OR St has to learn how to finish games when they have a team down; Bears.
Louisville at Cinci (17): Louisville has the tools on offense, if their defense can learn to play, but, it's not in the "Cards" (sorry).
    Auburn (25) at AR
Washington at AS St (13): I was wrong; Sun Devils are this year's Cardiac kids.
GA Tech at Miami: Wrecks can't afford to loose another ACC game. Canes don't care!!!
Ok St at NE: This could be entertaining; Huskers.
    AL at MS: Sabin's 1st year, & MS's 2nd consecutive win.
TN at MS St: MS St goes into Morgantown with 5 wins.
UConn at VA: Huskies become bowl eligible.
TCU at Stanford: Cards back to earth; still win.
IN at MI St: Spartans bounce back.
CO at KS St: Probably the biggest game between unranked teams which should be ranked; Buffs!!!

I also like A&M over Tech, Air Force over CO St, ECU over UTEP, and BYU over UNLV. ENJOY!!!

TE and 1st and Nole - Does watching Florida State seem like some sort of nightmare or what? After my Tide I just bleed garnet and gold, but that offense is a joke and then that thing with the punt and the officials went on tilt....It was surreal. I expected jugglers and clowns to come out onto the field. What was the reasoning behind Weatherford coming back in for that one series? Yeah I know Jimbo needs some time and all that, but that receiver for FSU (can't think of his name) that was 9 inches taller than the guy covering him??? Seriously, it looked like a JV guy covering a senior. Why not throw to him all night? I think back on all the FSU football I've witnessed. I was in Tallahassee the night Auburn beat FSU 42-41 in what had to have been the most exciting football game I've ever seen. I was in the stadium the day they came back from that huge halftime deficit to tie Florida. I've just NEVER thought I would see the day that the FSU Defense was SO MUCH BETTER than the offense. Bobby must be thinking "what a long strange trip it's been." And the rest of the schedule doesn't get any easier.

    Few of my picks.

    Illinois over Iowa
    Michigan over Purdue (maybe)
    Kansas over Baylor
Mizzou over Oklahoma (the Tigers are for real)
    Miami over Georgia Tech
Vanderbilt over Georgia (I think the Commodores will come ready to play)
    Auburn over Arkansas

I hope Kentucky can pull the potential upset over LSU, knock some of the wind outta their sails.

And when 'Bama comes to town tomorrow, I look forward to the Rebels sending Saban back home with an "L" on his forehead. But we better come ready to play. Anything short of an 'A' game won't cut it against the Tide.

Hotty Toddy, the Ole Miss faithful are talking it up this week and for good reason. How did we become a 7 point favorite? I wouldn't lay seven with our offense if we were playing Tuscaloosa High School. Those 11:30 Lincoln Financial games are typically crazy - just ask Florida. Your Rebels very well may send us home with a loss. One sad note, Justin Britt will not play tomorrow. His mother fell out of a golf cart last week after the Homecoming game against Houston and had swelling in her brain. She was operated on earlier in the week and a portion of her brain had to be removed. Needless to say she's still in critical condition. Anyway, good luck and it should be a great game.

    Big Tide,

    Thats sad to hear man.

Our problem on offense is, is that we're just not consistent with the running game this season. Green-Ellis rushed for 200+ yards against Mizzou, over 100 against Georgia, and the rest, in his own words, has been "garbage." We can be explosive but we have a problem pulling the "W" in the end.

Our guys just haven't quite learned how to win yet, we're too busy busting plays wide open. It could be a toss up between us.

Zac and others almost my entire post #22 is upset specials and some are wishful thinking on my part, but in a world were
    Stanford beats USC
    Syracuse beats Louisville
    Rice beats Southern Miss
    App St beats Michigan
    K state beats Texas
    Colo beats Oklahoma
    Wake beats FSU
    NC beats Miami
Anything can happen and we will find out how wild it can get.
The C-USA is really crazy and so is MWest
S Fla vs UCF favorite S Fla
UCF has two lose one close to UT the other against ECU I think they had a lot of turnovers in that game. The Knights have RB K. Smith
even on the road, I'm pullin for the underdog

ECU at UTEP both teams on a roll with quality wins, could go either way- Miners at home

Rice at Houston Cross town rivalry game, Houston has been comprtitive with some good teams.
Hope its as exciting as last years game-Owls pull it off somehow

SMU at S Miss Coach Bennett has his team ready coming off an OT loss to UTEP, SMU can pull it off somehow, heck Rice did

When ND lost to GA Tech, Holtz gave them a pep talk. They LOST!

When MI lost to Appy St, Holtz gave them a pep talk. They LOST!!

When FL lost to Auburn, Holtz gave them a pep talk. Yes! You guessed it. THEY LOST!!!

Holtz just gave LSU a pep talk. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

    Don't listen; it's a curse I tell ya!

    AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Ahem, in other news OK St is dominating in Lincoln. IA St seems to be able to move the ball at will…...between the 20's, but in 3 long drives has only come away with 3 pts. OSU is executing some other school from OH. IL seems to be suffering a hang-over at IA. GA Tech has its hands full with the "U". Rutgers has overtaken and surpassed Syracuse. AND, S FL, seems to be playing with C FL. Film at 11:00.

Well, hopefully our offense will bounce back against the Canes.

The offense has improved weekly with a full week to prepare. Against WF they obviously only had two days to prepare and X Lee missed one of those days due to a meeting with a teacher.

I'd expect us to bounce back and continue to improve offensively next week with a full week to prepare.

    (#26) Zac,

Most if not of all my posts will end in "get some more recruits". Canes fans understand that our recruiting will make or break us. Shannon got RB Cooper from New Jersey when the whole nation wanted him.

A great example of that is Illinois (although they lost today). They are getting results quickly because of recruiting.

Shannon will have to suffer through Coker's kids until he gets his own in there.

Another problem Shannon has is that he has allowed some idiot to take over the defense call duties (instead of doing it himself). Why is the DC an idiot? Because G.Tech scores both of their touchdowns on a naked bootleg by the QB (not to mention countless big plays to the tightend from the same formation). This means that the defense was not taught the simple word "contain".

However, there is hope for us Canes fans. Coach Shannon erased all of the crap that the DC put on the markerboard and took it over (mid game). At least he knows what part of the problem is. Hopefully Shannon will take over the defense next year.

Finally.....we suck at QB since Dorsey left. All Canes fans know this. That will have to be addressed in recruiting. We got a good kid coming in from the state of Florida next year. I expect him to compete against Kirby next year as a true freshman.

win or loose....I love my Canes.

    One more thing Zac.....

I as a Canes fan I understand that we SUCK. I make no excuses for that. As a Canes fan I know what are problems are. #1 RECRUITING. #2 COACH SHANNON NEEDS TO TAKEOVER THE DEFENSE.

I'm pleased with the OC Coach Nix. He will improve and grow as an OC. Better players will help also....especially at QB.

I don't see any other team behind us who should be ranked ahead of us at this point. Like you said, our team is beat up with injuries; the pollsters take that into account. If we can keep on winning then we're just going to keep on moving up. Put it this way, if we can win the rest of our games-beating #1 CAL and #9 Oregon- and get our starters back, we'll be right back into national title contention. If we continue to play like we're playing with more injuries then we will fall, and the #10 ranking won't matter or effect any other team.

I could understand maybe Florida. Then again, they've been beaten once by Auburn at home, and by LSU, who just gift-wrapped that game for KY. As far as the rest on your list, and after seeing all of them play, I think you're out of your mind with that opinion.

We'll definitely see how good the Buckeyes are the next 5 weeks. Michigan State, at Penn State, Wisconsin, Illinois, at Michigan. Trap game at Penn State on the road at night. The obvious rivalry game on the road. The way the defense is playing, I wouldn't bet against them, but Wells is playing on a gimpy ankle. We'll see, but I think they get through without a loss.

cdogg - I just signed on to Fanblogs to comment on the very same thing... We need to recover from Coker's sub-par recruiting. AllCanes's blog did an analysis of each player from Coker's 2004 class, it was pretty pathetic. Campbell and Moncur are the only two Miami-standard players, out of 26.

Shannon WILL bring this program back. There is no doubt in my mind. He is the recruiter we need.. Just look at the results he has had with his first recruiting class (one that he started working on months too late): Shannon recruit Greg Cooper has become our premier back, and is probably the lone bright spot on our offense. He's showing up Coker's 'Baby J' in decisive fashion... Shawnbrey McNeal looks like a stud as well.

It's going to be a few years, and the Canes will have long said goodbye to the Orange Bowl ... but even in Dolphin Stadium, the Canes will be great again.

And holy canoli, WHAT WAS THAT CAL QB THINKING?

Ughhhhhhh...Ohio State will be #1...deja vu all over again...

When you say "I could understand maybe Florida. Then again, they've been beaten once by Auburn at home, and by LSU" are you insuating that those two losses are why FLA should be below USC? So by comparison, you think that Stanford is a better team than AU or LSU? That's what I got from that statement.
USC has to go to Oregon, Cal, Ariz St and play. They haven't looked as good any of those teams.
If USC played anyone of those 6 teams today (FLA, ARIZ St, KY, TN, AU, Hawaii), they would have lost to all of them.

Oh, no. Not at all. (In other words, not so fast, my friend.) Earlier this year, I thought USC was worthy of their high ranking. After seeing them play Washington, then getting beat at home by Stanford--no way is USC a better football team than Florida right now. They seem to be regressing.

You and I agree on that.

You have to admit, though, that Auburn looked like garbage tonight.

Spent large for two seats on the 50, row E. Drove 2 1/2 hours each way. I was very disappointed in the lack of focus and intensity my Gamecocks displayed. Mr. Spurrier says "conservative crap" play calling ruined the roll. I agree. A coach of his caliber should not relinquish any control to a committee of other coaches. He should never bow down to political correctness. When you start winning, keep right on winning. Boosters who don't want to run the score up, stupid xxxxers.
Mr. Spurrier, true fans understand that you know what is best. Do that and every thing will be OK. Today was a truly execrable example of simply trying to preserve a win with only 21 points to work with.

    GA: (#65):

"Not trying to jinx you, but @PN St and @Michigan look like the tough ones left for you."

Once again, we agree. I've been saying all year I think the White Out is going to be the toughest game on the schedule. My friends were thinking I was crazy and rated Purdue and Illinois and Wisconsin above that one. They ought to be re-thinking that now (I know, Purdue is obvious). Michigan is always tough and it's on the road also, but they have the mental edge on Michigan and the RB injury situation is now even. Then it's Illinois, Wisconsin and MSU in ranking how tough they'll be.

"You have to be feeling pretty good about the Buckeyes right now."

The way the CFB season is going, there's no way I think they have it in the bag. I said earlier that I think they have a great chance of winning all 5 of those games. Now that they'll probably be #1 and with a giant target on their backs--I'm not as confident in that assessment. The Vested One is good at making the guys focus on the present, though.

Side note--for this reason I'm even more upset with their OOC games this season (other Buckeye fans are not happy about it either). They can't do anything about SOS with the other 9 games, but the OOC games were absolute B.S. this year, and I think it will kill them if they get knocked off. Plus, everybody will be describing them as overrated again, no matter what they do. Tougher games would have prepared them better for this point in the season.

Hopefully, they'll continue playing with that chip on their shoulder they've had since January 9th.

If he thinks Oklahoma is the best team out there, THAT'S HIS OPINION! I believe OHIO STATE is the best team as of tonight! Third, Colorado did not do anything to me. It was Oklahoma's football team that lost. Fourth, Kansas State and Oklahoma are TWO DIFFERENT TEAMS. I never did understand or like that type of reasoning. EXAMPLE: Oregon beat Standford 55-31. Stanford beat Southern California 24-23. Does that mean Oregon is going to beat USC 55-23 on 10/27? Since Georgia is your team I will break it down like this: Florida beat Tennesse 59-20. Tennesse beat Georgia 35-14. So Florida should beat Georgia 59-14 on 10/23?

This year is just proving that a playoff is needed more than ever. There will be at least one one loss team in the championship game. Will that be determined by when a good one loss team lost that game? What will determine the qualification for being the best one loss team? Let's see, OPINION!

My money is on Virginia Tech over Boston College next weekend (and no I am not from Virginia Tech, VT stands for Vermont). Other than the LSU loss VT has played well and they are at home. OSU doesn't play anyone this year, but people still consider Mich State, PSU, and Mich as competition. All un-ranked teams, what other #1 ranked team would have to worry about unranked teams? If they lose any of those games they drop too much. South Fla may be undefeated. It may end up being South Fla vs OSU.

We need a playoff, opinion polls stink. There is no other way to determine who belongs. Remember last year? Mich was almost given a second chance against OSU, they both got beat like the red-headed step child in their bowl games. We need a playoff.

Alright, I've heard plenty of arguments this season about the Buckeyes being weak because of their schedule, (and nothing really about the evaluation of talent on the field), so now it's my turn.

Guys, the UK/LSU game exposed the SEC as nothing special last night. UK beat the #1 team with a freshman tailback running pads up the entire game and a QB with zero mobility. That's the same UK team that gave up 453 yards of total offense to--wait for it--Kent State. That's right. In case you missed that--Kent State.

Yes, LSU managed to get 403 on them--in 3 overtimes. But what happened in crunch time? Stuffed. Miles was hailed as a genius last week, what are we going to hear this week?

It's obvious to see why LSU is shuttling QBs this year, although the kicker looked much better.

And don't get me started on the Auburn-Arkansas punt-fest last night. Two offenses getting nowhere against average defenses. Arkansas nearly won that game, but they just found a way to lose it before Auburn did. Might I remind you that the same terrible Auburn team that showed up last night punked Florida at home?

Color me very unimpressed with all the talk about the SEC being heads and shoulders above the rest. Frankly, that goes with the rest of the country, including tOSU. We'll really see how good they are 5 weeks from now, too.

    FromVT (#87):

I agree with most of your comment. Then you got confused and said:

OSU doesn't play anyone this year, but people still consider Mich State, PSU, and Mich as competition.

Like you said, the top 25 is garbage this year. You can't use it to evaluate any school's talent based on what you see in the top 25. There are no superior teams, there are no superior conferences. You have to evaluate the talent bases on watching the games and watching the matchups.

Here's a newsflash for everybody. Everybody in the country has a shot at winning every week, no matter who they play. If it isn't obvious by now, when is it going to be? Next Saturday? The Saturday after that? When?

Bring on the playoffs. Junk the B(C)S. Now.

#89 My point was that OSU is supposed to prove they deserve to be there based on games against all unranked teams, win out and you are in the National Championship game again. I am not saying that OSU is not the best team in the country, they may be. I thought it was LSU, but they have shown problems the last few weeks. Playing 4 ranked teams in 5 weeks will do that to any team.

I just hate the polls, just because you go undefeated doesn't mean you deserve to be in the title game. If Boise State was perceived to be better last year before the season started they might have been playing and not Florida. They beat OU and ended up undefeated, but they did not get the respect they deserved. I am just frustrated by the polls because it is all opinion based. Let them play it out in a playoff, win 3-4 games against top ranked teams will prove who deserves to be there.

Going in to this year my dream was that every team has at least on loss, that would shake it up some. It may end up happening. Then the opinions will determine which two one-loss teams deserve to be in the last game, hmmmmmmmm

Tom Blogical, outstanding post. Even though I'm not much of an Ohio State fan, your point about the SEC was to me 100% correct. I wonder what TE has to say about LSU's Loss? And how about Les Miles? I enjoyed seeing that extremely arrogant coach lose, just like I loved seeing him lose at Oklahoma State. LSU could have won that game, but arrogance and stupid play calling in overtime cost them the game, not to take anything away from Kentucky because Kentucky played an excellent game. And how about Cal? The Bears losing the way they did especially when they had the chance to tie it at the end must really hurt. And I'm still shocked that Nebraska got destroyed in Lincoln. Now, I just hope Stoops drills the hell out of the Sooner players because there were too many stupid mistakes made against Mizzou. Also, whatever malfunction the coaching staff is having needs to be corrected because the OU special teams and defensive secondary is hurting. Actually, I think Venables running the Zone defense is to why so many passing yards are accumulated against the Sooner secondary and I hope that will some how change. But, Oklahoma still played a great game and beat a good team last night. BOOMER SOONER!

I absolutely agree with that comment. We don't know. Nobody knows, and my only small beef was evaluating the talent based on the top 25 opinion polls--something we both hate.

"I am just frustrated by the polls because it is all opinion based. Let them play it out in a playoff, win 3-4 games against top ranked teams will prove who deserves to be there."

Again, we agree. In my comment you mention, I only had a problem with one small fraction of your previous comment. Please don't mistake my rant on the top 25 as a problem with you or a supposed slight on tOSU. With their OOC schedule, they deserve the criticism.

How's this for a playoff idea???

    ----
Every team plays all of its games. At the end of the year, the playoff selection committee will seed the teams according to their on the field performance and measurables (as determined in advance by the committee, of course).

Once the teams are seeded, the top two seeds play for the national championship.
    ----

I - for one - LOVE the idea. (Of course, I think the gurus at the BCS HQ do to, since it was their idea.)

Hence, it's exactly what sucks right now, and why I call it the B.(C).S.

#84 FanofFla My post #83 was an opinion poll, just like others, and of course there will always be problems with polls based upon opinion.
The Media, the Press, some computer analyisis, whatever the polls are all flawed and this year is no exception. It was just a joke to stir stuff up.I really couldnt argue over who deserves what at this point.
I really just threw that junk out there, this is after all a CFB blog and I'm a fisherman.
#93 and #95 I agree Tom and I have really enjoyed reading the exchange between you and VT.
#94 Kevin Although the current system for determining a champion is better than what we used to have, its based upon polls which are based upon opinions which is a flawed system.
If it aint broke dont fix it, Hey its broke and it needs fixing. You as the founder of this site have probably read countless hours of arguements from many different fans representing many different teams from all over the country that agree with my opinion.
    BCS needs to be scraped
All conferences need to be included
All conferences have the same number of teams
Either 10 with 12 teams each
or 12 with 10 teams each

Conf Champ games either scraped- discontinued or all conferences have them
The playoff bowls include the winners from each conference and a true champion earns it on the feild, not one game based upon polls while undefeated teams are left out.
    JMHO
    Hookem-Horns
We suck, we lost two games- ya right

You're doing your best to try to jinx them and...I don't blame you and it just might work the way the CFB season is going. Michigan scoring 48 points is no surprise to me at all. We both know that's not their problem. There's plenty of talent on UM's offense--plus they were up against Purdue's defense.

Ya know, I'm beginning to think Mike Hart is a vampire. Does he sleep in a coffin in the basement of The Big House? No matter how many times he gets hurt, he just keeps coming back. It's almost like you have to drive a stake in his heart and stuff garlic in his mouth to keep him out of the game. Gotta respect a kid like that.

I ain't bookin' NUTHIN'!!!! If I'm really, really nice to gatorhippy, and IF (I said IF CFB gods) the Bucks go undefeated, then maybe he could get me hooked up with the right people somehow.

How can you call Auburns defense average?
They held Mcfadden/Jones to less than 100 yards combined Saturday and have not let an opponent score more than 26 points all year. BTW the 26 points was to S. Florida. They also held Tebow and Florida to 17 points. How can you call that average?

Obviously Tom missed the game saturday night.
Too much to drink early i suppose.

Youll really need to see out of both eyes Tom to see that Auburns defence showed they are one of the best in the country.
Hey if your sober try reading the box score, that was an absolute beat down.

A team that was ranked Number five in total offence averaging over 500 yards per game almost 400 rushing got shut down.

Now you may not like that kind of a game but that is Auburn football.

We will need to find more offence to keep winning in the future. However that defence can play with any team in the country.

    AUTigers03 (#108) and Autigerman (#110):

First, I wasn't trying to offend anybody. I gave my opinion after watching the game. You guys know the drill, though. Opinions are like a**holes, everybody's got one.

How about you relax a little, Autigerman? How do you know I'm not a recovering alcoholic? (I'm not, so don't feel bad).

I called Auburn's defense average because of who they were playing. Arkansas' offense is ranked 20th in the nation overall, even though their rushing offense is 3rd overall. Why is their offense ranked 20th in the nation? Because their passing offense is 73rd in the nation. Now, to be fair, these stats are current; I'm not exactly sure what they were prior to that game. Taking a look at their schedule and results, I'm assuming they got most of their passing yards against North Texas, Troy, and Alabama. Not exactly heavyweights this year.

Even a falling down drunk could tell Auburn made Arkansas a one-dimensional team by focusing on stopping McFadden, and dared them to beat them through the air. Which they didn't, unless you're counting all the punts.

I give them props for shutting down McFadden, the leading Heisman candidate. Maybe I was a little harsh. The next opportunity I get, I'll watch them play again. Maybe my opinion will change.

Hell, I'll even drink a six pack when they're on so I'll have my beer goggles on. Everything looks better with beer goggles on--not worse.

    OK Tom
i was out of line with the drunk comment i apologize.
But heres what i was saying.
Arkansas was ranked #5 total offence before that game.
We played a 4-3 defense didn’t even stack 9 in the box and dominated one of the best o lines in the country.

We did that with 3 defensive starters out with injury.
I just get tired of always hearing that the other team su
