Fanblogs Open-Minded Thread

With our fearless leader out on a little R+R, I present to you this week's Fanblogs' open thread. It's been a little slow this week in CFB news, but at least we haven't had a TE mini-series on LSU's defensive prowess or a Ben Prather docudrama on Non-BCS Conference Busters to stare at instead.. Those are subject to change at any moment, however.

Curiously, Tomcat is conspicuously absent this week to crow about the Horns' victory in the Red River Shoot-Out, Game-where-you-can't-mention-guns-anymore, but since he roots for every team in Texas, he's probably out there calling out Sooner fans on a SMU or aTm website...

Clemson Joe finally got his wish as Tommy Bowden was exorcised mercifully from Clemson this week. Unfortunately for Joe, the high priestess he contracted two weeks ago to create a Voo-Doo doll on Bowden won't refund his money or answer his emails.

We'd like to welcome the 548 new readers that signed up through Disqus this week to come to our fair site, even though slightly over 500 had some version of Alabama, Tide, or Crimson in their moniker. Should Ole Miss pull an upset this weekend, we'd owe ya one...

In a related story, you may have noticed that Feedburner is now reading close to 18,500 readers for our sight. Unfortunately, the Department of Justice has announced an investigation into the possibility that over 2500 readers were fraudulently registered by ACORN in some working-class neighborhoods of Columbus, Ohio. Seems that potential readers were promised a throw-back Art Schlichter jersey and a return to the BCS National Championship game for registering...

And as usual, please be polite and courteous while posting, keep your table tray in the upright and locked position, and please spay or neuter your cats and Dawgs...
