Week Eight Pick 'Em Standings

The sad thing about our great pick em contest is that like your average Florida panhandle high school, half of us have droppd out. Of the original 50 who joined, exactly 25 are still with us. So for all of you that have taken your ball and gone home, phooey on you! I'm not 17/50, I'm now 17/25, thanks to the DNFs.

Last week, the number one game that most of us got was Ga TEch over UNC, followed closely by Houston over SMU. Conversely, very few picked either Clemson over Miami or Air Force +9.5 with Utah.

The winner of the week was GP Burdell with 18, followed by Clemson Joe and Old Hog with 17 each.

Some interesting games on the slate for this week, including FOUR games where a majority of the pickers on Yahoo! are taking the underdog and the points:

Ohio State vs. New Mexico State (44)
Florida vs. Georgia (15.5)
Tennessee vs. South Carolina (5.5)
USC vs. Oregon (3)
