Fanblogs Turkey Day/Thanksblogging Thread

You wanted it, you got it. Have at it! Is this officially what we call rivals week? Most big rivalries fall this week. I think we may have an open thread on Friday and/or Saturday this week. Check in and see!

And since it's Thanksgiving, I think it only appropriate that you dedicate your first post to what you're most thankful for--NOT overall, like Mom's cooking or grandma's love, but solely that in college football that you are thankful for. For me:

5) Short-sighted fans, the likes of who want to run off Mark Richt, Bobby Bowden and Les Miles. who equip their rivals with soooo much ammo. They make this sport way more interesting that it could possibly be on it's own.

4) The University of Alabama, who gives my favorite team their very own bowl game at the end of the year, whether we have earned it or not.

3) The BCS. Simply put, what the hell ever did we have to argue about before you came along?

2) Mythical National Championships. Without you, we'd have a 119-team playoff that would last until May.

1) Fanblogs fans. Proof positive that fans of a myriad of teams CAN and DO get along in the blogosphere. Otherwise, we just look like every other message board...
