Flag On the Play: Bad Beats Edition

One of the most endearing aspects of blogs is that they are a outlet for the expression of pure emotion. That is certainly the case this week, as several teams took tough losses and --along with them-- so did the college football bloggers.

The following are offered up as outstanding examples of what it means to be a fan: to paint your face - even for Directional State College, to always have your jersey at the ready, to know your depth chart backwards & forwards, to always, always have your team's back, to live on every win and -- as is the case this week -- die a little on every loss.

mgoblog - Acts of God

TipsterHog Blog - Vanderbilt Wades Through the Hog Slop

Buckeye Commentary - The Short End of a Classic

Turtle Soup - Limited Time Only! They are giving away wins at Byrd Stadium

Pitt Sports Blather - Short Bitter Thoughts

Hawkeye Football - Iowa's big loss: Ugh, what's next?

Like I said, this pulling back the curtain a little on what it means to be a true fan for your team. Hats off to these bloggers for putting it out there.
