Gators getting their own cereal
Not to be outdone by Ohio State's HerOes, the University of Florida is getting a special-edition cereal to commemorate 100 years of Gator football.
This year, which marks the third edition of the special flakes, the box cover features the 1963 football team and football coach Ray Graves celebrating after a 10-6 upset victory over Alabama. Quarterback Danny Wuerffel, the 1996 Heisman Trophy winner, is also pictured. The back panel of the box includes historical information about milk, benefits of three daily dairy servings and a "Gator Touchdown Smoothie" recipe.
New sponsor Gatorland, a 110-acre alligator theme park and wildlife preserve in Orlando, provided a Gator fact sheet on the side panel.
The limited-edition Frosted Flakes will be available at Publix grocery stores in Florida.
Each of the Publix stores will receive an initial shipment from a distribution center and obtain extra boxes as needed, said Mark McCauley, sales manager for the Gator Network. He suspects the supply will last through most of the football season.
Supplies will last most of the seeason?! Yeah, right. In other words, get out to Publix fast, Gator fans, because those $2.99 cereal boxes won't last long.

Cheat-O's or Cheatios, both are hysterical.
Have you seen the picture of the new referee uniforms in the Pac Ten? Instead of black and white, the stripes are green and yellow. I have only had about 20 people send me that e-mail so far.

He put the program on the map in a way that Graves never did.
I guess it might have a little something with his current position...
