LSU, West Virginia ink home-and-home series to begin with 2010 season.

The Tigers & Mountaineers have agreed to a home & home series to begin in 2010 with West Virginia taking on LSU in Baton Rouge first, and the Tigers returning the favor with a visit to Morgantown to take on the 'Eers the year after.

LSU is able to continue a tradition of facing one BCS Conference team per year as a part of its out-of-conference slate, and West Virginia has an opportunity to strike a blow for the Big East against the mighty SEC.

I think this is a game that will attract a good deal of national spotlight. The 2010 matchup in Death Valley has a made for Gameday feel to it already, and the 2011 return date to WVU smells an awful lot like a Thursday night ESPN Special as well.
