Master Coaches Survey poll to debut this week

Looks like a long summer of negotiations will finally come to fruition, as the Master Coaches Survey will release their first poll tonight.

The coaches participating in the poll are John Cooper, Vince Dooley, Pat Dye, LaVell Edwards, Hayden Fry, Don James, Frank Kush, Dick MacPherson, Bill Mallory, Don Nehlen, John Ralston, John Robinson, Bo Schembechler, R.C. Slocum, Gene Stallings and George Welsh.

Sixteen coaches with Hall of Fame resumes are joining forces to bring you the Master Coaches Survey (MCS), a revolutionary approach to ranking the nation's top teams. Unlike other rankings, the MCS Poll is determined by voters with the highest level of expertise and integrity available. And in an unprecedented twist, the Master Coaches will watch all of the teams they're evaluating EVERY week. No other poll can make that distinction.
