Michigan unveils new uniforms
Blending tradition and technology, Michigan will don new uniforms designed by Nike. The new jerseys will incorporate a lightweight stretch fabric and be more tapered, like the new Nike uniforms unveiled at Virginia Tech and Miami in years past.
The most obvious changes are for the whites (away jerseys). Gone is the block M on the sleeves, which is replaced by the uniform number. Maize piping runs along the shoulder lines. Player names and numbers will be stitched onto the new jerseys, rather than the silk-screened look of recent Michigan jerseys.

From my non maize & gold perspective, I think they are less distinctive than the previous uniforms. I'm not saying that Michigan sold out to Nike, but...I'm just saying. Larger detail images are available at Mden.
