It wouldn't be Army - Navy without a goat-napping
The Army - Navy series may have become a little one-sided as of late, but the Army cadets aren't letting that deficit get in the way of tradition.
Army goat-napped the three angora goats who split time as the Naval Academy's mascot in "Operation Good Shepherd"....
The Naval Academy was not amused....
I think Navy got off lucky - they could have been kidnapped by Oregon State....

My first thought was "And how much security was there at the Naval Academy this week?" (with the international peace summit). Then I read the linked info. Now I'm just hoping that either the food at the summit came form somewhere else besides the Naval Academy farm, or they had lots of "taste testers" on site.
Speaking of eating, I'm also curious what's in the van with the goats. If these were any 2 standard college, I would guess those goats had some blood-shot eyes. Maybe the cadets got them a little toasty so they would be more cooperative.

Funny stuff! This is probably where the phrase "Don't let 'em get your goat" originally came from.
Didn't all teams originally have a goat as a mascot? I think Georgia's original mascot was a goat, but after they lost their very first game to Auburn, they bar-b-qued it.
