NCAA looks at easing rules in Katrina's aftermath
News reports indicate that the NCAA is looking at relaxing restrictive rules following the devastation in the Gulf Coast area because of Hurricane Katrina. Rules potentially affected relate to infractions, schedule changes, travel restrictions, extra benefits to players' families and allowing players to compete without actually being enrolled in classes.
