Quick on the heels of the Brent Musburger Drinking Game, Brent Musburger was ticketed last night in Lincoln for having an open beer container in the ABC rental car.
Lincoln police said Musburger was a passenger in the ABC crew's rental car.One witness said a traffic officer had just waved traffic through the intersection when he spotted Musberger drinking a beer.
The witness said he saw other passengers with alcohol, but Lincoln police said only Musburger was ticketed.
The driver was not drinking.
Musburger was given a $144 citation, including court costs.

Musburger's one-sided (pro VT / anti FSU) coverage of the innaugural ACC championship should give his superiors second thoughts about his qualifications. Brent's "bent" for VT showed all to often. One early quote...." If nothing else, FSU has brought a lot of enthusiasm to this game" was mild compared to a night full of bias. FSU obviously brought far more than enthusiasm to the game. Musburger as a play by play man should stick to the facts and stick his bias where the sun don't shine. How's that crow taste Brent?

If I remember correctly there was some sort of open container issue or controversy with Musburger in the car but I don't think any charges resulted.
