Go ahead, punk, make Crewcut Charlie's day

Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis is wrapping up his tour of military bases overseas in Germany and the Gulf, along with Miami's Randy Shannon, Georgia's Mark Richt, Auburn's Tommy Tuberville and Yale's Jack Siedlecki.

In addition to talking X's and O's with the troops and organizing an armed forces flag football game, Weis got the opportunity to handle and fire several different weapons with the troops.

While it was undoubtedly a great pick-me-up for the troops, the pictures are... priceless.

Is it just me or does anyone else think that gas mask could have come in handy during last year's Irish season??
