10/8 Patriot League Recap
Georgetown and Duquesne combined for 21 punts and 334 yards of total offense as the Hoyas defeated the Dukes 10-7 in overtime as the rain poured down in Washington. Marcus Slayton rushed for 115 yards for GU. The Georgetown defense held the Duquesne to 169 yards with two interceptions and five sacks. Brad Scoffern kicked the game-winner after the Dukes failed to score on their overtime possession.
In other Patriot League action, Holy Cross upset Lehigh 13-10 at Lehigh.
Lafayette defeated Columbia 14-7 at Lafayette.
Colgate handed Princeton their first loss as they defeated the Tigers 16-10 at Princeton.
Bucknell lost at Penn 37-10 while Fordham was defeated 37-14 by Brown.
