Pitt fans turning on Wannstedt?

After back-to-back losses to Notre Dame and ((gulp)) Ohio, it sounds like the warm welcome is starting to turn very, very cold very, very quickly for Pitt football coach Dave Wannstedt.

The honeymoon is over for Wannstedt. His postgame press conference Friday night was disrupted by two fans who jeered, "Go back to Miami, Wannstedt!"

The coach paused only briefly and seemed to ignore the two hecklers, who appeared to be wearing blue-and-gold gear.

For my part, I think it's a bit early to be throwing dirt on the Wannstedt's grave just yet. Coaching changes always take time, even when the team is as talented as this Pitt team appears to be.

MAYBE THE TEAM ISN'T AS TALENTED AS AMERICA THOUGHT. I'VE SEEN BOTH GAMES. IT AIN'T WANNY.

I'm from Chicago and we had to endure Wannstedt for way too long. He is putting Tyler Palko in a bad spot because he is trying to run a running offense with one of the best QB's in the country. The man has never been a winner.

The best part of Pitt sucking is all the anti-Penn State signs and chants during the ESPN Gameday.

Pitt, you'll always be the second class, redheaded step-child in the state.
