39 year old trying to walk for 'Cocks
A 39-year old Gulf war veteran and father of six is trying to land a spot as a walk-on wide receiver for the Gamecocks. Tim Frisby has spent four weeks working out with the team, but didn't see any playing time during this weekend's spring game or the two previous scrimmages. Frisby's nickname at USC? "Pops." Looks like a long shot, seeing as how most of the USC players weren't born when Frisby graduated from high school.
