CBS releases some SEC dates

CBS has announced some details of it's 2004 SEC television lineup. While some dates are still up in the air, CBS said they will definitely be televising the following games:

LSU @ Auburn, Sept 18, 2:30p
Florida @ Tennessee, Sept 18
LSU @ Georgia, Oct 2
Tennessee @ Georgia, Oct 9
Georgia @ Florida, Oct 30
LSU @ Arkansas, Nov 26

CBS has reserved the right to televise the following games as well:

Alabama @ Arkansas or Kentucky @ Florida, Sept 25
Auburn @ Tennessee or Arkansas @ Florida, Oct 2
Arkansas@ Auburn or Tennessee @ Ole Miss, Oct 16
Alabama @ Tennessee or Georgia @ Arkansas, Oct 23
Georgia @ Auburn or Alabama @ LSU, Nov 13
Auburn @ Alabama or Ole Miss @ LSU, Nov 20

The remainder of the SEC television schedule will be determined later in the year by CBS and the other TV partners.

Suffice to say that there probably won't be too many Vandy games on the national feed this year. Ditto for Coach Croom's MSU Bulldogs and the USC 'Cocks.

To be honest, two short years ago, one would only find the Turkey Day game betwixt the Hogs and the Tiggers on the CBS boob tube lineup when it came to nationally televised LSU games...

Oh, how times have changed...It's a what have you done for me lately society, and the Cocks could be in our shoes in a few scant years if they get the right mix into Columbia.

I would say the same thing about Vanderbilt, but long ago Vanderbilt went the way of Tulane in athletics (By this I mean de-emphasized athletics. Case in point, they recently folded the entirety of the Athletic Department into another branch of the University at Vandy).

This is LSU vs. Georgia in 2003

    2 wins, no losses.

1 Division Title (SEC West) vs. 1 Division Title (SEC East)

1 Conference Championship vs. 1 Conference Championship Loss

1 National Championship vs. 1 Bowl Game Overtime Victory versus....Purdue?

By the way, I don't know if this is a telling statement, but I'm 25 years old...

TE - you're answering a question from a Georgia Dulldog, so you better convert that to either dog-years or blah-blahs.

Then show a corresponding number of milk-bones.

As long as there is Bulldogs, there will be people who want to be like them, who start things with them, and wish they could beat them. The reason GA lost to LSU was because the WR was hurt. He was hurt all season. LSU DOES have a good D. Thats all I am saying.
