Simon Out For Season
An MRI yesterday confirmed that Kevin Simon tore the ACL in his left leg, leaving him out for the season. Tennessee may petition the NCAA for a hard-ship deferment to get Simon another year of playing time.

Due to the injury, Jason Mitchell moved over to middle linebacker for pracitce yesterday and will see playing time there this weekend against Louisiana Tech. Mitchell will share responsibilities in the middle with John Poe.

Fulmer Responds to Uproar

When will Tennessee Fans get fed up with the regime in Knoxville and get an honest group to coach their team - probably not soon because winning is too important. We remember the party death early on, the illegal shoes in the bowl, the intentional injury to the LSU quarterback in the SEC championship that backfired in his face, the rape that Fulmer had "cleared up" with the girl's family before Campus police or anyone official had a chance to investigate and
now buying officials (there were several indications in the Fl. game).
I'm fed up and will never root for my state's team again!
