SEC Results, Standings Week 4
Florida 20, Kentucky 3
This is one of those games where the final score really doesn't indicate how close the game really was--at least for three quarters. Kentucky picked off three Chris Leak passes in the red zone to keep the Wildcats in it and moved the ball well at times. They just couldn't capatalize on their opportunities down the stretch. The Kentucky defense did a great job in the game, but the offense just doesn't have the weapons or firepower to capitalize on the opportunities.
LSU 51, Mississippi State 0
The LSU offense seemingly moved at will while the LSU defense clamped down on Mississippi State in this one sided contest. Two LSU quarterbacks had over 100 yards passing in the contest and LSU led the game 34-0 at halftime. The Bengal Tigers face a big test Saturday in Athens as they take on number three Gerogia.
Arkansas 27, Alabama 10
The Crimson Tide dropped their first game of the season Saturday to the Arkansas Razorbacks, 27-10. Razorback freshman Peyton Hillis scored two touchdowns--one on a one-handed grab from QB Matt Jones. Jones also scored a touchdown rushing in the contest.
Navy 29, Vanderbilt 26
The road woes continue for Vanderbilt, losers of their 15th straight road contest. This is the second time in as many weeks the Commodores have lost by three points. The Commodores put up a good fight on defense and on special teams, blocking a Navy punt in the third-quarter for a safety. The Commodores pulled within three points late in the contest on a touchdown from Jay Culter to Marion White, but were unable to stop Navy on fourth and inches to get the ball back.
Wyoming 37, Mississippi 32
Ole Miss rolled up 567 yards of offense, but still came up short to Wyoming Saturday. The Rebels are off to their worst start since 1998 at 1-3 this season. Trying to find a replacement for Eli Manning continued, with Ethan Flatt getting his second start for the Rebels. However, Flatt turned the ball over five times in the contest, leading to 13 Wyoming points. Wyoming's Josh Barge proved the difference maker in the game, returining a punt 87 yards for a touchdown and catching a 69-yard touchdown pass.
Auburn 33, Citadel 3
Auburn remained undefeated on the young season against the Citadel Saturday, setting up a top-ten battle with also undefeated Tennessee Saturday night. Carnell Williams and Jason Campbell got some work in, but Auburn rested their starters early in the 33-3 rout of the Bulldogs.

Nope.
One of LSU's freshman quarterbacks (Russell) had over 100 yards passing. The other freshman (Flynn) had 87. LSU's senior quarterback (Randall) had 103.
