Tennessee Update
Larks moves to secondary
Senior Corey Larkins has made a move to help shore up Tennessee's secondary. Larkins requested that defensive coordinator John Chavis move him to safety Sunday, a request which Chavis has granted.
Larkins considered the move after the Florida game when he talked it over with teammates. After the loss to Auburn, Larkins decided to try and make the move. Larkins will start by attending defensive meetings and learning several packages in which he can play a role.
Injury updates
Safety Jason Allen did not practice Tuesday, but said he should be ready for the Vols' showdown with Georgia on Saturday.
Parys Haralson's status remains questionable for Saturday's game. He has swelling in his knee and an MRI revealed no significant damage. Phillip Fulmer is "hopeful" Haralson will be able to go Saturday.
Pollack a problem
Chris Low, writer for the Tennessean, has an article about the Vols' problems with Georgia defenseman David Pollock in previous years that is interesting reading.
Ole Miss Kick-Off set
ESPN2 will air the Vol's game against the Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday, Oct. 16. Kick-off is 9 p.m EST.
