Arkansas QB Jones questionable

Arkansas QB Matt Jones, who injured his groin early in the game last weekend against Auburn, is questionable as to whether or not he would play this week's game against No. 10 Georgia.

Coach Houston Nutt would not committ whether Jones, who is the SEC's leader in total yards, would start or miss the game.

"We don't know exactly. He's better today than he was yesterday," Nutt said in a Monday conference call. "It's hard for me to sit here today and say he'll miss this game. I hope not."

On average, Jones has accounted for 274 yards per game this season. If he were to sit out or play sparingly, it would be a handicap for the Razorbacks against the SEC's second-best defense.

If Jones is unavailable, reshirt freshman Robert Johnson, who came on in relief of Jones against Auburn, would get the nod.
